Regional Groups

The MPRG supports several regional groups, although not all are active.

Please direct enquiries regarding regional groups to the Regional Groups Officer (see contacts page).

Information on any forthcoming meetings is included in the MPRG newsletter whenever possible, or may be found in the News section of the website.

East Midlands and North-East Region

Please contact the Regional Groups Officer.

SEMPER

SEMPER covers the south and east Midlands and East Anglia please contact the Regional Groups Officer.

North-West Region MPRG

The NWMPRG covers North West England from Cheshire to the Scottish border. The aim is to hold one meeting a year, and meetings have been held in Liverpool, Lancaster and Chester.

South-West Region MPRG

Wales

The Welsh Medieval Pottery Research Group has not met recently, but it publishes its own journal, Medieval and Later Pottery in Wales on ceramics from Wales and the Marches.

Papers for publication should be offered to Mark Redknap, Dept. of Archaeology and Numismatics, National Museum of Wales, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF1 3NP, tel 01222 397951.
